Hi Em,
I’m just on my flight up to Kasane ☺️. I actually wanted to give you some more detailed feedback. So it was super well organised. The detailed packing list that you sent us was a massive help! The only thing I would have done differently was take less clothes. I literally brought double to what I needed.
Then I absolutely loved sleeping under the stars. Those bedrolls were so warm and comfy and easy to pack and unpack. What a fabulous concept. The food and drinks were just perfect. The food was seriously delicious and enough and nice and fresh and innovative. Not the standard grub. The drinks were also super!!
Then the riding was just a dream. What super ponies and I think they managed to match riders and ponies really well. The ride was well managed and I loved the tempo too. The staff were all magic. Super helpful and every wish was seen to. Everyone was so open and friendly and you were always looked after.
So not a bad word can be said about the organisation and how the show was run. Oh yes and how magical was the beach house at the end. It was great to have a final dinner with everyone at a big table and to be able to scrub up and look human again before you head off into civilisation.
What I really enjoyed about the trip was the great mix of people. Everyone came from a different walk of life and it was really interesting to hear everyone’s story and what brought them to this adventure.
It was a trip that allowed you to totally switch off. You could just relax and live in the moment. Every day was different, every ride was a new adventure and every conversation opened up your mind to something new. By total escaping the world as we know it and not having a worry in the world you truly got to relax and recover mentally. Oh and how magical it was to escape the whole COVID saga!!! Something that is truly priceless! Oh and the length of trip was great. We could however have easily done a few more days. It was so stunning!
